Clairefontaine paper is a bit heavier

... than regular notebook paper and I punch the Clairefontaine all the time for my Circa system. Since most of the pages are A4, they don't perfectly align (unless you're doing an entire notebook of the stuff), but that doesn't bother me. There is one notebook that is 8.5 x 11 when torn out; it's already perfed and three-hole punched, so I usually use the unpunched top staple bound pad for punching to fit my Circa.

Sorry to hear Pendemonium is out of the Clairing, though. They really are (or, I guess were) very nice notebooks.

I was at Artlite in Atlanta today, and there were many Clairefontaine notebooks in various sizes. Their web site (www.artlite.net) is not good, and Clairefontaine does not come up in a search. You'll do better calling them. If you love fountain pens, they also have a large assortment.

Combine Clairfontaine & Circa?

Someone here posted awhile ago about smurfing one of the covers of a regular spiral notebook to piggyback a circa notebook onto it. Sorry to not give due credit to that creative person. I see so many great ideas here I frequently forget who said what. Would that be anything you might consider?

I don't know about the Clairing notebooks. But I do know there's a large selection of Clairfontaine notebooks at the Daily Planner because I used to salivate over them, and other lovely notebooks on that site.

Now I'm Circa-fied.

Ames, Iowa. At University Book Store in the Memorial Union. I have no connection to the bookstore--just an office in campus town so it's handy to go there at lunchtime for quick shopping fix.

Any specific universities ?

Clairfontaine at Univ Book Store

Dozens of Clairfontaine notebooks -- several sizes, colors, and bound options (top or side bound) -- are available at the local University Book Store. If you are near a University, you may want to check their bookstore.

FYI FOR ATOMA USERS/WANNABE USERS: They also have a really good selection of the Atoma notebooks, letter size and something roughly classic size, blue and black plastic covers and refills available (lined or plain paper) for each size.

You should call and see if they have any left or can get more.

It was kind of a one-shot thing. Exaclair (the US distributor for Clairfontaine) had some in their warehouse gathering dust. They made them available to Pendemonium at our request. Once Exaclair's supply dries up, it would be much more difficult to get more. I wish that were different.

Does anyone know where to get the Clairing notebooks? I love Clairfontaine's paper.

I'd read here that Pendemonium had them, but I read it in an old post and they no longer carry them. Doing a Google search turned up nothing.
