DIYPLANNER Website

Thanks to those of you responsible for invisioning and creating such a website. It is fantastic. I love my computers, both desktop and laptop, and use them regularly, but they will never replace a good paper planner and pen when it comes to convenience and real portability.

Diy planner

I just found this on my internet. i look forward to trying it out on my own agenda. my agenda was a gift from a friend. Finding paper to replace it was a nightmare. I had saved blanks, and was using a copy machine. i always thought it would be so much easier using a computer printer. Thank you so much.
Sincerely Michelle Shine

yikes!

Unfortunately, I just cleaned out the stuff marked as spam. I'm pretty careful to make sure they weren't posted by a "normal" user, and, I'll confess, I did not see the post you're referring to in that very long list.

I'm very sorry that this happened to you, particularly since you're such a prolific poster and your contributions are very worthwhile. You're a valued member of this community. No, you definitely did not deserve to have your comment be marked as spam.

The spam solution we're using here has a pretty good track record, but any sort of automated process we try will occasionally give false positives. Again, I did go through and clean them out, and I can't believe that I missed your mismarked post, but I'm afraid that must have been what happened. My humblest apologies.

Doug and I, among many others, are working to make this as pleasant of an experience as possible for everyone. I'm terribly sorry that this happened to you.

If you (or anyone else reading this, ftm) ever come across a situation like this again, please bug Doug or me directly, and we'll do whatever we can to resolve it.

Smile when you call me a spammer.

Hey, yesterday I took the time to write a relatively lengthy answer to a post that no one else had answered -- about how to fit large and important tasks into you schedule. And then when I hit submit it told me my post had been flagged as potentially spam and so wouldn't be posted. I've just checked, and yes, that post isn't visible.

What the heck? I've never spammed anyone. EVER. My post was not full of suspicious terms about cut-rate pharmacies or hot for sex suburban housewives or any other hot triggers.

I don't know what is going on, but I can tell you that it feels very much like getting slapped in the face to put time and effort into a post and then have this happen.

And I'm especially annoyed because I'd also had this happen once before -- and that time the board's decision was simply to dump ALL the messages written in a particular time span without looking at them.

This is not the way to treat posters. Maybe holding posts from newly registered people might make sense, but I've been a member for almost a year, posted many messages and several articles.

Wot No Template?...

Hi Alex, I have taken a look and cannot find the attachment or the thumbnail. All I can suggest is you resubmit - and I will give it priority - or wait for Doug's return. :S

About This Site

Productivity and Passion

DIYPlanner.com is a community site whose focus is on paper-based productivity, planning, journalling and creative techniques. Here you will find the official D*I*Y Planner kits, as well as daily articles, scores of useful templates, handbooks and how-to's, forums for discussing productivity in its many forms, images to clad your planners or inspire you, and so much more.

The rules are simple: be nice, try to help each other, and don't be afraid of sharing your advice, no matter how wacky or unorthodox it may be. After all, inspiration may lurk in the least obvious places, even for something as seemingly mundane as time management.

We encourage sharing and creativity above all else. Feel free to discuss matters in the forums. If you've created a template you'd like to offer other users, submit it. Have a favorite photograph you think people would like on their planner covers? Upload it. Interested in writing a guest post? Have a unique kit that you think would inspire others? No problem: that's what we're here for.

DIYPlanner.com is a non-profit venture. All the writers and editors are volunteers: we're doing this because we love the subject matter. We also think that the opportunities for continuing to use paper for productivity and creative possibilities are endless, and that this site provides opportunities for making the most out of your life, your work, and your ideas. We hope you agree.
