Testing: DiyP3 Monthly and Yearly Calendars

I've been squirreling away my little pockets of time to produce the new monthly and yearly calendars, and they're just about ready. Seeing time is running short and the holidays are upon us, I thought I'd release them as a draft for testing purposes. I'll incorporate your feedback for final release within one week.

If you'd like to download the templates and participate in the bug hunt (which would be very much appreciated), please keep reading....

A few notes before you download:

  1. Sometimes I spend so much time doing things like aligning little boxes to the micrometer, I don't notice things like ...oh... that I have the wrong month listed, or even the wrong year. Please keep a look out for the wrong dates, wrong months, too many/few days in a month, and so forth.
  2. I encourage you folks to print these off and stare at them until you see sweet visions of boxes dancing before your eyes. (Trust me, I empathise.) Look for problems with alignment, margins, gradients, font sizes, and anything else out of place.
  3. If you're unsure of a box alignment or something else minute, zoom into the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader. You'll certainly see any problems if you zoom in close.
  4. This is primarily a content draft, since all styles are already set forth in the D*I*Y Planner 3 release, and I'm sticking to those until version 4. Given the short time frame, I don't want to change around the structure of the templates at this moment.
  5. Note: North Americans tend to use a Sunday-Saturday weekly calendar, and the rest of the world tends to use a Monday-Sunday week. Before reporting an error, please verify that you're viewing the correct sort of week. (This is a common trip-up among testers.)

This is currently a Classic-size release, but A5 users can centre within their pages to print. Once the bugs are fixed, a proper Classic and A5 release will happen simultaneously, followed by a new yearly calendar card for the hPDA.

Thanks in advance, people -- I've always counted on your feedback for this project, and now is no exception! Please leave comments with this article so I can view and gather them.

Boo-Boo number one

Looks great so far.

On page 67 (24 of 48) - the right hand page of December 2007 for Weeks-Beginning-On-Sunday, I think you reversed the inner and outer margins.

Bug #1

Excellent, ygor, thanks!

Remember, folks, the more bugs you find, the better. (I don't have a fragile ego, so don't worry about catching my mistakes. ;-) )

These look great! Haven't caught any errors yet. Did have a bit of trouble getting them to print. Almost got to the point of uninstall/ reinstall printer but I think the problem was on my end.

Thank You for all your hard work on this.

Any word on when the updated

Any word on when the updated documents will be release?

Thanks for all of the hard work!

March 31?

Thank you so much for this wonderful resource - I finally have a planner with exactly what I need where I need it.

The monthly March Sun-Sat layout calendar seems to be missing the 31st?
