Seriously, any one going to bid on this?

Because if anybody is, I won't. I don't want to drive up the price competing against somebody here, but if nobody here is going to bid, I think I would like to try. I'm a sucker for old "technology." ;-)

I do not want it.

Go for it and good luck.
No bids on it yet and less than 2 hours to go

It looks like I won!

Well, it looks like I won, and will have to post images as soon as I get it--which will probably take a while! It hass to get to me in Krakow--yes, Poland. :-)

I still don't know why I did this! ;-)

:D

Congratulations :D

You did it cause it is a pretty green color and can house your valuable hPDA :D very valid reasons IMO.

I must confess

It seriously was the green that pushed me over the top. :-)

Strangely, as I've been thinking about it, I believe I will use this case for my model railroad puzzle that is being based on European trains of an earlier time. I have cards for every car, and pull them out randomly to Make up a train. The randomness of it is what makes it a puzzle. With this case, it will help with reinforcing the period of time I'm modeling. :-) And it's cheap enough not to break the bank!

Vintage PDA photos for Sara

Well, as you requested and I promised, I've finally added photos of that "vintage hpda" I won on eBay. I have added them to the DIYPlanner group as well:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/diyplanner/pool/

They should show up on the first page.

C'mon now...

You had a whole seven hours to bid on it between the time I asked and Jon said he wanted it.

;) You snooze, you lose

BTW, I agree about the pix. Very pretty item.

lolz

Its a good thing I didn't buy everything I oooogled. My house would be full and my wallet/accounts would be VERY empty :D ... Glad one of "US" got it though... great to see its in good hands and being used for productivity~!

It's ok.

I only bid when she said she wouldn't be. I'm not one to steal candy out of a baby's mouth. :-D

another hipster case?

Levenger Thingie

The pad of paper is 3x5 inches... I asked. >.< It is probably a VERY good thing I can't get a PayPal account yet.

my artwork

It came today!

And as soon as I can get some time, I'll take some photos and put them up on Flickr. It is really weird, but neat at the same time. It is simply a desktop-pad (felt on the bottom) and a cover (the green is leather). On the brass at the top is inscribed, "Dover Rotary Club, Dover, N.J." with the rotary symbols on each side.

The lid is kind of heavy, and would be great for concealing what is underneath (its original purpose, I believe) as well as keeping it all contained. It came with what I assume was an original pad of paper, as well as another, extra pad. The original pads had perforations to easily tear out. All in all, an interesting bit of history, and an interesting addition to my desktop. My A7 scraps fit in there quite well, and I believe I will use it for them.

anticipation

I'm eager to see some pictures of it in use :)
