Ryan -- Re: Levenger Shipping

I called my local Levenger yesterday, gave the "Office Folio Junior" item number and after holding for awhile I was told that they had two left. They wouldn't hold them unless I bought them over the phone. I wanted to see them in person but when I went there today they were gone ... assuming they were actually there in the first place.

I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that they both sold in less than one business day, unless he found them out back and then put them on the clearance shelf (they weren't there last week).

The young lady working with me today did call another Levenger and they do have them but she says they won't forward them from one store to another. She says if I buy 3 of them the shipping will be $15.00.

Am I wrong for thinking they could absorb this in light of their mistake / misunderstanding? Or should I just get over it and call the other store before they run out too?

Thanks in advance for any input.

ETA: I think what really bothers me is that I won't have the chance to see it first before buying it. Of course that isn't their fault. I suppose what I should have done is bought them over the phone and then "returned" them if I didn't like them.
