Jotter Gel Ink

I don't know who's had experience with the gel ink refills that Parker makes for their jotters, but I've found them to have incredibly poor quality of construction. The ink writes very well, but the little ball in the tip has fallen out of every single one I've used, and I'm stubborn. This always happened within a week. Thankfully, after the first time, I wasn't keeping the pen in direct contact with clothing just in case it happened again. After the third time, and one stained shirt, it was time to call it quits. I love the jotter, the ball ink works great for ballpoint, and the gel ink write well, but there seems to be serious quality control issues with the make of the gel refills. If you've had good luck with them, great. For those who haven't, be careful.
