GTD with emacs & hPDA

Hi!

Recently I switched to emacs editor and plan to use its org-mode along with my hPDA, i.e. I plan to put some of
the stuff from hPDA into computer and would like to print stuff from emacs on index cards (I plan to print on
A4 paper and then cut).

Does anyone use similar setup, ie. 'syncing' hPDA with emacs environment?

Sincerely,
Gour

Edit:After thinking about the problem for some time, I consider the following scenario:

  • using hpDA for the 'field' work and then put WaitingFor, Maybe...conputer-related stuff into emacs' org-mode
  • keeping non-computer stuff on hPDA

I.e. the point is not to do 2-way 'sync', but just hpDA --> computer one and then while doing weekly cleaning, take a look at both sources.

If someone does similar stuff, ie. using both hpDA & computer-related planning, I'd like to hear more, no matter if the computer-program is emacs or not?

Sincerely,
Gour

Forgot to post this...

I don't know if you know about this, but there's the TiddlyWiki, or this enhanced version.
LINK

It's a single-file wiki that you can store on your own computer, or on a server. Works from within your web browser. You might find this useful maybe in replacement of emacs. :-)

Almost forgot to add, but TiddlyWiki prints directly to 3x5 cards. I know you are looking for A7 now, but this is another aspect to ponder. ;-)

Ahhh, no, no...I won't give up on emacs ;)

Yesterday, I received three replies on emacs-orgmode list with some solutions how to use org-mode for GTD :-)

Thanks for reply, anyway...

Sincerely,
Gour

p.s. I wonder why my last reply to 'paper type..' thread is not posted...It looks like potential spam when you use few urls :-)

You post was spammed

Emphasis on past tense. I un-spammed it.
