Cheekie Munki Butt

Yeah, that's me! Ok enough of the pleasantries. But, really is there ever enough of those anymore? I am a mac maven! I just went analog. I have a classic sized what I call "bible of life". It has been an interesting experience.... albeit the hair pulling and drab stock I am working with. I have all the cool stuff to make templates, but, lack the actual know how. Sad isn't it? I would totally love to be as cool as the cool kids who made all the templates.... Yes I have looked at all of them! Here are the specs. Just in case some one has a few pointers..

1 Mack book 2.2 ( black, purrrr)
1 OS Leopard .5 ( Meeeoooowah )
1 iwork '08
1 MS office ( lord knows from when, I know it's os X comp )
1 CS Adobe suite

One franklin covey 365 monthly weekly thingy...

So... any one wanna be my friend and allow me to get all national geographic and munki pick thier brainiums?

OpenOffice

If you're willing to learn OpenOffice.org, you can use the Widget Kit to create some templates.

The Widget Kit for OpenOffice.org 2.0 is here: www.diyplanner.com/templates/official/widgetkit

NeoOffice -- the Mac-ified version

convert widget to another format?

I've never thought about it before, but I wonder if it's possible to convert the widget kit to another format for use in other software? Hm... and I'm going to be sooo busy today!

SVG ?

I think (Open/Neo)Office can export to SVG

PDF Version

The PDFs of the widget pages will open right up in Adobe. I've used them in Illustrator.

Hm. SVG and PDF

I don't remember if my version of Illustrator can open SVGs and most pdfs don't look too well... I need to spend some time on that tomorrow. :-) Thanks guys.
