Pilot G2 0.38

Saw these in blue and black at the local Shopko this past weekend... I should have grabbed one of each but I have so many pens to choose from already! This was the firs time I saw them...so be on the lookout if you live in the 'last place to get cool stuff' like I do :D

Also try the Uniball signo RT 0.38
I tried the 0.38 sized G2 pens and they are nice, but I like the uniball Signo Rt 0.38 better.
They write very similarly, but the G2 ink is a bit thicker, the uniball seems to glide a little better and lay a finer line, although the G2 is a smidge darker.
Big selling point for me with the uniball over the G2 is the water resistance of the inks.
G2 ink is not very smudge/water resistant.
The Uniball signo uses the same ink as the Signo 207 pens that are labeled as check washing resistant. I did some tests and found the ink is indeed very resistant to water, and most common household solvents, Iso-propanol, ethanol, acetone, denatured alcohol, and the Signo stayed and the G2 did not.
signo .38 locally?
Where do you find .38 signos? :D

I have seen them at
I have seen them at officemax, Officedepot, and Staples.
They are hit and miss though, sometimes they have them, some times they don't. I get the 4 pack which has 2 black, one red and one blue. I highly recommend them. I just wish they lasted longer.
The Uniball signo 207 is more common, comes in a micro point 0.5 which is similar, just a hair wider.
You can also get the signo RT in 0.38 size at Jetpens.com

What are folks paying for them ? JetPens wants US$1.80 each or a 4-pack for US$7.00

I have not seen them sold
I have not seen them sold individually at any of the big box stores, only in a 4 pack of all black or 4 pack of 2 black, one blue one red, those are 6.99. So the same as Jetpens.com.
You can buy a box of dozen and save a dollar or 2 if you can find them.
You can also get other colors too if you get them from jetpens.
