Sitings, Questions and more :D

I must disclose that I have resisted purchasing an Itoya Blade "disposable" fountain pen at Hobby Lobby forever ...
LINK

and then most recently I saw a pentel fountain pen in the pen aisle at Target. I failed to grab a photo or write down the name... I'll be back at that Target next week after my dentist appointment (its my reward for not biting anyone).

Anyone have any experience with either of these?

Also i just bought a Bic rollerball named Triumph 730R - its a great pen that rivals the pilot precise imo... i might do a review i like it so much.

Also... for you pen lovers of the Energel: i saw this for refilling them: LINK

And a paper spotting to report! Rhodia pads and spirals are now available at my Target... O.O I was shocked. They have some Miquelrius notebooks in two sizes as well. There may be hopes of me having some nice paper now too LOL. (I just need more money!)

Toodles for now... much work to be done... blah.

That Pentel...

...is a BLN-15(A/B/C) 0.5mm fine point pen

A = black
B = blue
C = red

Staples has them, $20 for a box of a dozen (online)

the refillable one :)

I love energels... soooo smooth.

The pentel fountain pen is bugging me... I can't find it online anywhere.

Target

Yep, I saw the Rhodia at Target too and a whole new line of Moleskin look-alikes, even the cahier things that are sold in sets of three. I stopped, drooled, and somehow left without.....

that fountain pen

leave it to fellow addicts to help me out!

A few places...

The folks on FPN will know more than I, but off the top of my head comes Richard Binder (from whom I plan to order my cursive italic Namiki Vanishing Point when I have the cash free), and Pendemonium (from whom I have bought other things, with great results, but haven't seen their italic nibs).

Hope that helps!

Not at Pendemonium

Hi Dan,

We do carry some Pilots, but not the Plumix, this pen has not yet been made available by the US Pilot Distributor, so you'd need to turn up a dealer in Japan.

Best regards, Sam

Dang !

My Target, too.

They are at my Target, too (Iowa) and this state is usually the LAST place to get everything! I didn't buy one because they looked kind of cheapy. Do you suppose there's two different versions of this pen? I didn't think it looked all that much like the posted photo.

For my part, I'm going to stay with my Varsity. I have it in several colors...not that I can use it very much...even bleeds through card stock, as has every fountain pen I've ever used.

Blades

I've had experience using the Itoya Blades and they're very very good, much better than the Pilot disposable. I like their thin line; the Pilots tend to be too thick and wet for me. I bought the Blades at a local independent stationary store, and I think I bought them out. They've never restocked it, and I've been unable to find the Blades anywhere else.

now you've done it! :D said

now you've done it! :D said something good about 'em... I'll have to add them to my birthday list :D thanks for the info!
