LEVENGER HAS MADE IT RIGHT!

I finally broke down and ordered a steno pad and refill from Levenger!!! I could not have been more disappointed!!! The packaged arrived and the pad and refill were bent out of shape!! It was packed in a huge box with four of those air pillows!! It would have been safer in an envelope!! It looks like some packer took it off the shelf without looking to see if it was in good shape!! The plastic was half off and it was unusable!!! So much for Levenger quality! I really expected better from them!!! So much for all the hype!! I guess I will go back to Day Runner. The disappointment is first you order it and then you wait a week in anticipation and finally it arrives!! Boy!! Oh well, thanks for listening!! :(

LEVENGER MADE IT RIGHT! THEY ARE SENDING A NEW SET AND TOLD ME NOT TO BOTHER RETURNING THE DAMAGED ITEMS.

For damage in shipping (or defective goods), take pictures and then give them a call and offer to send the pictures.

Call customer service

The only time I had a problem with a Levenger product I ordered, I called customer service. I told the woman who answered about the problem, and she arranged for a replacement to be sent immediately. I offered to send the defective product back to them, but it was not necessary. She assumed I was telling the truth, and apologized for the problem.

Stellar customer service

On a couple of occasions, I had problems with a product, and they always made it right. Usually by replacing the product and even paying for shipping the defective product back. I had a Circa foldover leather notebook bought on sale that arrived with a broken smurf notch on the cover. I shot a photo of it and emailed it to them, and they sent me a replacement and paid for shipping the broken one back.

Do you remember Ryan Rasmussen? I once mentioned to him that I had a leather Circa cover that I didn't use because it wasn't quite what I needed. Even though I'd had it for several months (albeit unused), he arranged to exchange it for a new leather Circa foldover notebook at the same discount I bought the original cover at. I use that notebook at my office every day.

On another occasion, I bought some lamps that were on sale. A couple of weeks after I bought them, the price dropped some more. I complained about it, and they credited me the difference.

Whenever I've contacted them with a problem, they found a way to help. Their shipping is still too expensive, but their service, in my experience, has been great.
