3x5 index cards that dont bleed when inked?

hi everyone

I have bought up index cards recently at staples, and I think also office max and office depot that are weird, really porous somehow, soak up ink like crazy, sort of very slightly rough feeling paper (feels icky to touch as though there is no finish on it) and .... the paper is powdery slightly as though there is paper dust packed in with the cards... and some of the colored ones are staples house brand... and some are from the other office supplies and sell 300 or 500 for somewhere between 3.99 and 8.99.

Can you tell me brand names of index cards 3x5 that are your favorite... that you can write on with ink pen and the paper is sturdy enough (I swear the index card makers... some of them... are also using a lighter LB weight than usual) has a good feel, you know, like good or even great paper?

thanks,
archangel

You are using a fountain pen, right ?

If so, you might try different inks.
I have noticed a sad lack of consistency in the paper quality of such products.
