Levenger Coupon (and a word of warning)

First, the coupon:

$15 off any merchandise purchase of $100 or more. 9H3022 Before September 20th, 2009.

Second, the warning:

If you have moved sometime in the last little while, and perhaps more so if you do not live in the USA, you might want to pay attention to the following story. I moved in May 2008 and have ordered twice from Levenger this summer, both times with Fedex ground shipping. BOTH times, Levenger made the same mistake: despite the fact that my old address is nowhere to be seen on my side of their web site, they have actually slapped my OLD address on the Fedex forms, while there is also a label on the package with my current address. Of course, Fedex tries to deliver to my old address, where the package is refused, and then it's up to me to run after Fedex to give them my new shipping address.

For this to happen once is annoying. It happened twice and I'm not a happy camper. It looks like customer service did not pass the word to whoever is responsible for the computing mistake there (after it happened the first time), or nobody cared to fix the bug because it's only affecting non-American customers (or is it??). They have refunded the shipping both times, but I'd be happier if I was truly assured they'd fix the problem.

In any case, I'm not going to be using that coupon anytime soon, I'm levengered-out. Happy shopping and if you've moved recently you might want to give them a call before your order ships.

I haven't had this problem

I haven't had this problem with Levenger but with another company.. seems both partys are dropping the ball.. hope they get it straightened out!

There was a "free shipping" coupon...

... but I trashed it 'cause it had a $100 minimum purchase on it.

Yeesh

(I had that problem with eBay once...hadn't erased a bunch of old addresses after I got out of college...and somehow a seller managed to send my purchase to my ex [despite the fact that I'd put in the comments which address to send it to]. Awkward! Now I know: no addresses that I don't want to use belong in my eBay account!!)

New coupon code?

Does anyone have a current code for Levenger? Even a $100 minimum will work, I have to suck it up and buy a desk punch. I just moved so I'm not getting catalogs right now. Thanks.

Did you try pleading a bit over here ... ?
