Is Komtrak compatible with any cheaper punches?

I got a Komtrak sketchbook in a lot I won on ebay. I love the notebook and flexibity of it. I'm curious if any of the GBC punches are compatible with this system? I found contradictory info on google. Some people say yes while others say no. I'm curious if any of you have any experience with this system and can shed some insight on it? Thanks for your help!!

I think it is compatible

I bought a sampling of it, and as I recall, the punches are spaced the same as GBC.
You are talking about the spiral binding, right ?

Thanks Ygor!

Yes, I'm talking about the spiral. Do you know which GBC is compatible? I looked up GBC and found a variety of punches in a wide price range. Thanks for your help! I love my circa notebooks but I find the pages aren't holding up as well as I'd like in my journal, they seem to get bent easier then I'd like, as I bring my journal all over and it gets quite beat up.

Any comb binding machine will work

There are cheap ones for about $20. The ones that look like they could stand serious use start around $50
You can buy paper pre-punched. Check craigslist.org I checked my local list and saw a few at nice prices.

Good luck.
