Two-hole puncher?

I am currently contemplating on purchasing an A5 Filofax planner, and would love to print the templates here to add on to the standard pages. However, one thing that is keeping me back is the six-hole puncher.

There is no available six-hole puncher for the A5 Filofax size here in my country, and would like to ask if a standard two-hole puncher can be used instead (to maybe punch two holes at a time)?

I'm currently in Malaysia right now...

How about eBay ?

There is an eBay-Malaysia !
Link

I would think that if you could buy the planner, the same seller should be able to get a punch for you.
If they cannot, I would look for another seller.

Lots of options

Yes, you can use a 1 hole punch to make the holes. A 2 hole punch doesn't really work as the spacing isn't quite right.

Also, you can take your printed forms and a template to a printer and get them to drill the holes.

But, being in Malaysia you should be able to find a lot of prepunched page for filofax style planners. We get lots of them here in Australia from Korea. Often the Korean pages come with little animated characters on them.

If you don't want dancing pandas on your forms, or its too hard to print with the holes already in the paper, you could get a punch from Franklin Covey Australia. I'm not sure what the postage would be as the punches are quite heavy but it should be a lot cheaper within the region.

A couple of other options,

A couple of other options, the first is the Rapesco 6 hole punch.

It punches paper smaller than A5 and is generally designed to punch for 3x5, 4x6 sizes. It can however be hacked to punch A5 one set of three holes at time. I use another brand punch in a similar manner for my A5 system.

The other option is to check other systems like Time Systems to check the costs of their 6 hole A5 punch though I suspect the pricing would be similar. Ebay may carry some at a reasonable price though.

Lastly there is this node in D*I*Y Planner though I have no experience of the punch and its A5 capability.

The reality I feel is that A5 6 hole punches are only available from suppliers like Filofax and Time Systems at a high price. Punches like the Rapesco, though not designed for A5, can be used with a little thought/hack at a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps.
