Stub Nibs Really Work!

I recently purchased my first stub nib fountain pen, and am now amazed by the effect on my cursive handwriting!!

I was a doubter for a long time. I had read the claims that writing with a stub nib will improve handwriting, blah, blah, blah... I was intrigued, but not enough to spend $100 to find out if true.

Recently, though, I learned of where I purchased a stub nib Pilot 78G for $25 + shipping. I can do 25 bucks.

I am now a believer! With thin upstrokes and thicker downstrokes, my handwriting almost looks artistic. Wow! The "shading" is beautiful!

This new pen discovery is now leading me to experiment with various ink colors. Waterman's Havana brown looks great, as does my current favorite, Private Reserve's Lake Placid Blue.

Unfortunately, the lower price tag for these pens makes it easier to make multiple purchases. Soon there will be more stub nibs in my collection.
