- Short Profile
My name's Steve Sharam and I write periodically for diyplanner.com, despite the fact that I have the organizational skills of compost. I produce and write for a blog on technology and psychology with my father, called When Reality Knocks. You can see the gratuitous link here. If you don't believe me, just click and see for yourself.
Well, what can I say about myself? I have a history degree from King's College, Dalhousie University in Halifax on the Canadian East Coast and I have a fine arts degree in Photo and video art from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, so I spend most of my time trying not to starve to death. I went into photo after failing to take off in drawing and painting. The problem was that I'm ambidextrous, but also dyslexic, so I can't draw with both hands. I'll try to bring insights from my various training to planning and organization, providing a broader spectrum of understanding of the topic, even if I have to make it all up.
- Hobbies and Interests
I muck around on the guitar, I'm pretty heavily into a few styles of kung fu, though since I quit several years ago and have just been back into it for a year, I'm only now getting to the point where I'm more of a danger to others than to myself. My favorite form is the 5th Dan Northern Staff form, where I get to wave around a 7 foot staff. I pretend I'm doing it for fitness and self defense, but really it's just wonderfully phallic to wave a huge stick all over the place.
I recently moved to Vancouver, land of mists and mellow fruitfullness, with my beautiful French Acadian girlfriend Meghan. She wants a little dog, I want a big dog: The struggle continues.
